Silly Monkey is a small knitting business that aims to offer the highest quality knitting accessories at an affordable price. For this reason, every single product has been designed in-house by its founder Erica, who has a penchant for innovating and improving boring everyday products to make life easier.
Since 2019, Silly Monkey has introduced sock blockers in both kid and adult sizes, mitten and gloves blockers, and several other knitting accessories that have consistently received exceptional ratings from our valued customers.
Silly Monkey’s founder Erica Yang hails from a business background. She holds a masters in business management from Warwick Business School in the UK, which is also where she picked up the hobby of knitting. After working for several years as a quantitative analyst for Fortune 500 companies, Erica decided to quit her corporate career and moved to Boston, to start her own company and convert her hobby of knitting into her career.
She’s highly involved in promoting women entrepreneurs in her local community, hoping that more and more young women can also take a leap of faith to pursue their passion and not be stuck in the old-fashioned corporate career paths.
